For body-based practitioners
Get found by people who already described the thing you treat.
Everyone who joins Neurotoned fills in a long intake about what their body is doing — the tension, the shutdown, the nights they can't settle. You list the modalities you practise. We put your practices in front of the members whose intake matches them.
It is free to list, you set your own prices, and you keep your own clients.
No monthly fee
Your profile, clips and booking page cost nothing.
You set your rate
You name the price. We add nothing on top of it.
No exclusivity
Keep your own practice, your own site, your own clients.
What you actually get
- A profile page
- Your photo, bio, credentials, modalities, and every practice video you post, on one page you can link to from anywhere.
- Your practices in the feed
- Tag a video with what it helps. Members whose intake points at that see it. No daily posting, no algorithm to feed.
- A booking page
- Set your hours, session lengths and prices. Members book a slot, you both get a calendar invite.
- A video room, or not
- Sessions run here if that suits you, or wherever you already work. Your choice per session type.
- Messages
- Members can ask you a question before booking. You reply when you have time, or not at all.
- What a member chose to share
- Before a session you see their name, when they booked, and anything they wrote for you. If they opt in, the focus areas from their intake — themes only, never their answers.
How this is different from a directory or a therapy platform
Both already exist and both work for some people. Here is the honest comparison, so you can decide before spending fifteen minutes on an application.
| A listing directory | A therapy platform | Neurotoned | |
|---|---|---|---|
| How you're found | You appear in a list. Whoever scrolls, scrolls. | You're assigned clients by their matching system. | Your practices reach members whose intake names what you treat. |
| Who sets the price | You do. | They do, usually per session or per hour. | You do. Per session type, including free intros. |
| What it costs you | Usually a monthly listing fee, paid whether or not anyone books. | A cut of every session, ongoing. | Nothing to join, nothing monthly, nothing to post. |
| Whose client is it | Yours. | Often theirs — non-competes and off-platform rules are common. | Yours. No non-compete. Continue off-platform whenever you want. |
| What you have to produce | A profile, then hope. | Availability, and their intake process. | One video to apply. After that, as much or as little as you like. |
| Who gets in | Anyone who pays. | Licensed talk-therapy clinicians, mostly. | Certified body-based practitioners, reviewed against the criteria below. |
The trade-off, stated plainly: we are new, so the number of members who could book you today is small and growing. A directory has more people on it right now. What we have instead is that the people here have already written down, in detail, what is happening in their body — so the ones who reach you are looking for your work specifically.
How it works
- 01
Apply, and show us one practice
A short application and a single 60–180 second video teaching one tool you actually use. Not a showreel. The criteria are published below, so you know exactly what a reviewer is looking at.
- 02
A person reviews it
Not an algorithm and not a form letter. If it is close but not there, we tell you precisely what to change and you send another version. Most people who get notes get in.
- 03
Your clips reach matched members
Tag your practices with what they help. Members whose intake points at those things see you in their feed — alongside their own results, not buried in a directory nobody browses.
- 04
They book you directly
Set your hours, your session lengths, your rates. Clients book, both of you get a calendar invite, and you meet in a video room here or wherever you prefer.
What a reviewer actually scores
Published up front, because a bar you can only discover by failing isn't a bar — it's a lottery. These are the exact criteria, in the exact words your reviewer sees.
Teaches one usable thing
A member can do it today, without equipment or prior context. Not an introduction to you, and not an introduction to your modality — one tool.
Regulating, not activating
The pacing, tone and volume settle the viewer. No urgency, no hard cuts, no fear-based hook. If watching it raises your heart rate, it does not belong in this feed.
Empowering, not pathologising
Frames symptoms as an intelligent nervous-system response, not a defect. No diagnosis, no prompting self-diagnosis, no claims of cure.
Within scope
Body-based practice — not psychotherapy, not medical advice, not nutrition prescription. Trauma content carries an explicit titration or opt-out instruction.
Watchable
Framing, lighting and sound are good enough not to distract. Phone-shot is completely fine. Backlit, echoing or clipping is not.
And the technical bits
- · 60 to 180 seconds
- · Filmed vertically — 1080×1920 or better
- · Audible speech throughout, with no music bed over the instruction
- · Your face visible at the opening and the close
- · No contact details, external links, or branding for your own practice
Filmed on a phone is completely fine. Most of what we approve is.
Who this is for, and who it isn't
A good fit
- You're certified in a recognised body-based modality and it's in good standing
- You work with the nervous system as something intelligent, not something broken
- You know the edge of your scope and refer out past it
- You can teach one useful thing in ninety seconds
- You want more of the right clients, not simply more clients
- You have room in your calendar now — this fills gaps, it won't replace a full practice
Not a fit
- You're a talk therapist, coach or nutritionist with no body-based certification — that's a different platform
- You want clients assigned to you without a profile or a video
- You need volume today — we're new and small
- Content built on fear, urgency or diagnosis-by-video
- Promises of cures, or claims a body can't back
- Using the feed as a funnel to something else
The questions everyone asks
- What does it cost?
- Nothing to join, nothing monthly, and nothing to post. On a paid session booked through us we keep 50% of a first booking with a new client and 0% after that. Free intro sessions cost you nothing either way.
- Do the clients become yours?
- Yes. There's no non-compete and nothing stopping you continuing with someone off-platform. We'd rather earn the next booking than trap you into it.
- How much work is this?
- One video to apply. After that, as much or as little as you want — practitioners who post occasionally still get matched, because matching runs on what your practice helps with, not on how often you post.
- Do I need my own insurance?
- Yes. You practise independently here — we're the introduction, not your employer — so you carry your own professional indemnity cover and your own licences.
- What if my video isn't approved?
- You get specific notes on the criteria you missed and you can send another version. That's the normal path, not the exception.
- What do you tell me about a client before a session?
- Their name, when they booked, and anything they chose to write for you. If they opt in, you also see the focus areas from their intake — the themes only. We never hand over their answers.
- Where do sessions happen?
- In a video room here, or wherever you already work. Both of you get a calendar invite either way.
If your calendar has room, this takes fifteen minutes.
One application, one video, one person reading it. We onboard in small groups so every application gets read properly.
